MMORPG fans have been feeling a lack of new titles in the genre in recent years. The release of Lost Ark a few months ago helped to quench their thirst, and now Chrono Odyssey is poised to follow in its success.
Chrono Odyssey is an MMORPG developed by South Korean studio NPixel, using Unreal Engine 5 as the game engine.
For those who are unfamiliar, NPixel is known for their expertise in developing games of the same genre. They previously developed popular titles such as Gran Saga and Seven Knights.
MMORPG Chrono Odyssey Confirmed for PC and Console
In their latest trailer, NPixel showcased the gameplay of their MMORPG, Chrono Odyssey, which was previously announced for Android and iOS.
However, because it was developed with the powerful Unreal Engine 5, NPixel decided to focus on developing the game for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
That’s right, Chrono Odyssey will not be available on Android or iOS and will be an MMORPG exclusively for PC and the latest consoles.
In the trailer, the world of Chrono Odyssey is shown to be very dynamic, with changing weather systems, dynamic regions, and new gameplay mechanics that allow players to change battles and their surroundings.
With PC and consoles as the primary target, Chrono Odyssey offers greater freedom of play than on mobile.
However, despite the use of the powerful Unreal Engine 5, there is still no information on how Chrono Odyssey’s optimization will be in the future.
As of writing, there is no release date for Chrono Odyssey, but MMORPG fans can look forward to its arrival in the future once NPixel is ready to release it.
