Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that they will be hosting a State of Play broadcast on April 13 at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET, showcasing more than 20 minutes of new gameplay from Final Fantasy XVI.
Fans around the world have been eagerly awaiting details about the game’s dark fantasy setting, the powerful Eikons and Dominants, and the flashy battle system since its debut in the 2020 PlayStation 5 Showcase.

The broadcast will be available for viewing on YouTube (English, English Subtitles, Japanese) and Twitch.
A PlayStation Blog post states, “We’re happy to announce this week’s State of Play will dive into all this and more.”
Final Fantasy XVI is set to release for PlayStation 5 on June 22.
