Sources close to journalist Jeff Grubb and news outlet Video Games Chronicle have indicated that Sony Interactive Entertainment will soon be hosting a PlayStation Showcase event.
According to Grubb, the showcase is expected to take place during the week of May 25, although it could happen earlier. Grubb explained that he didn’t want to give a specific date and disappoint fans if it didn’t happen.

Video Games Chronicle has cited sources within Sony Interactive Entertainment who claim that the showcase will take place either at the end of May or early June.
According to editor Andy Robinson, the event will also feature new content from Konami.
The previous PlayStation Showcase was held in 2021 and featured the announcement of several exciting titles such as Marvel’s Wolverine, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – Remake.
The 2020 PlayStation Showcase saw the unveiling of Final Fantasy XVI, Hogwarts Legacy, and God of War Ragnarok, among others.
Before that, a similar event was held several months prior, where Gran Turismo 7, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Forspoken, and many other titles were announced. Fans are eagerly anticipating what the next showcase will bring.
