Enad Global 7 baru saja mengumumkan bahwa mereka akan mengakuisisi Daybreak Game Company sebesar 4,2 triliun rupiah. Daybreak Game Company merupakan developer dari seri PlanetSide, H1Z1, DC Universe Online dan EverQuest. Diperkirakan persetujuan tersebut akan selesai pada tanggal 31 Desember nanti.

Enad Global 7 merupakan sekumpulan perusahaan yang mengembangkan, memasarkan, menerbitkan, dan mendistribusikan video game. Studionya terdiri dari divisi pengembangan, yaitu Toadman Studios, Big Blue Bubble, Antimatter Games, Sold Out untuk divisi penerbit dan Petrol Advertising untuk divisi pemasaran. Kita ingatkan bahwa mereka juga baru saja mengakuisisi developer dari seri MechWarrior, yaitu Piranha Games.
Daybreak Game Company terdiri dari 4 studio, yaitu Darkpaw Games, Dimensional Ink, Rogue Planet Games dan Cold Iron Studios. Di dalam grup tersebut, mereka akan “memperkuat dan memperluas portfolio Enad Global 7 dalam game dan IP yang menarik”. Selain itu juga mereka akan memberikan sebuah team yang kuat di bagian pengembangan, strategi dan operasi.
